DRS. PAUL and CAROL ALEXANDER
Morning Adult Teachers
Dr. Paul Alexander was elected as the eighth President of Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota on March 7, 2012. Prior to serving as president of Trinity Bible College, Dr. Alexander served as president of Mattersey Hall College and Graduate School, located in Mattersey, England from 2004-2011. He came to Trinity with his wife, Dr. Carol Alexander, with a strong vision of academic, spiritual and social engagement.
Dr. Alexander’s PhD is from Bangor University, Wales and it centers on a missional rational for theological education and training but included a thorough examination of the interface between the church, the academy (particularly Christian higher education) and the wider community.
Carol has been involved in Christian leadership for the past three and a half decades. She has served along with her husband Paul, in church and mission leadership and has lived on four different continents.
Carol is a passionate communicator and is in demand as a speaker around the world. She is committed to motivating men and women and assisting them in discovering God’s best for their lives. Carol and Paul often speak in events together and have been actively involved in speaking and teaching in leadership contexts for many years. Carol holds a PhD degree with a specialization in contemporary culture and Christian leadership responses to it.
In recent years Carol has held a senior lecturing position in a large ministry training College in the UK. Most recently she has assumed responsibilities as the Director of Graduate Studies at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota.
The Alexanders have lived on four continents and have led a variety of ministries and institutions. They have led churches in the UK, South Africa and Australia. Additionally, Paul has led institutions of Higher Learning in each of these places. They have also served with local churches in the USA. They are both passionate about training people to be servant leaders with a commitment to church planting, mission and care for the poor and disenfranchised. The Alexander’s have two grown children.
Pastor Rick DuBose was elected as North Texas District Superintendent in 2007. Before being elected as Superintendent he was Assistant Superintendent from 2005 to2007. Pastor Rick pastored Sachse Assembly of God, now North Place Church, from 1987-2005. While pastor at Sachse the church grew from 17 people to in excess of 800. He also pastored at Hallsville Assembly of God, Hallsville, TX. During his pastorate in Sachse he was honored by Sachse Chamber of Commerce “Man of the Year” in 2001. He also served on the World Missions Board from 2001-2003, served as the North Dallas Presbyter and has been an Executive Presbyter since 2003. Rick and Rita DuBose were married in 1979. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
